Dear Dancers,
Your enthusiastic support is making the San Francisco Open into a top-notch competition with growing nationwide appeal. As we prepare to celebrate our 26th anniversary, we would like to thank you for continuing to make our competition one of the best in the San Francisco Bay Area.
We warmly invite you to the 2006 San Francisco Open Dancesport Championships, to be held March 31st through April 2nd. You'll be happy to know that this first weekend in April is our new permanent date!
By now you should have received our Registration & Information packet. If not, or if you have questions or need extra forms or materials, please visit our web site at www.sfopen.com or call us at (650) 366-0504. We've enhanced our hotel competition packages this year, including accomodation with breakfast each day, one or two banquet dinners on the weekend, ballroom admission with preferred seating, Pro/Am entries, a souvenir gift, and additional discounts. These packages are not only convenient, but represent a good value for you and your students. Competitors this year can earn points towards both DanceSport Superbowl and the Global Circiuts.
Our $7000 Top Teacher award is one of the largest in the West. Exciting scholarship competitions wil draw Pro/Am students from around the US as well as adult and youth amateur competitors from North America, Europe, and Asia. We will be hosting the 2006 closed Global Ladies B Bronze/Silver Standard & Latin Scholarships.
We are very excited to present Wendy Johnston all Star Showcase on Sunday night.
Entries are due March, 4th. We're looking forward to seeing you at the 2006 San Francisco Open Dancesport Championships.
